Purpose
The purpose of the GPRTA is to create a marketing focused organization funded by partnership fees, marketing programs, Alberta North funding opportunities, and fund-raising initiatives. The GPRTA will work with industry partners to create marketing opportunities that will increase tourism visits and spending in the Grande Prairie Region. Specifically, it will coordinate industry marketing programs with Alberta North, promote local current events, publish tourism marketing materials, and represent the membership at trade shows and high profile events.
WHO ARE WE?

OUR GOALS!

· Operate the current Visitor Information Center and associated activities.

· Co-ordinate industry partnership marketing programs with Tourism Destination Region—such as Alberta North.

· Promote current events offered in the Grande Prairie Region and encourage partners to attract major events to the area.

· Publish relevant tourism materials to promote and market Grande Prairie region. Also attend trade shows and other high profile opportunities.
